The annual campaign

Friends laughing together over a festive dinner

$5,580 raised of $50,000 · 7 gifts · 39 days left

Everything at our Chabad house is free: Friday night dinners, Tuesday classes, holidays in the park, a rabbi at the hospital at two in the morning. Free to the people who come — not free to run. The annual campaign covers a year of all of it, and it peaks at our gala dinner. Partners at every level are thanked in the gala journal and keep the doors open for the next family that walks in not knowing anyone. This is the gift that says yes to everything else.

Other ways to give

By check — to Beit Shalom Table, 100 Main Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78205
By Zelle — to the office email; add your name in the memo
From a donor-advised fund — search for us by name in your fund's portal
Stock or crypto — call the office and we'll send transfer details
Your employer's matching program — many will double your gift
In your will — a legacy gift that keeps the doors open for your grandchildren
I give monthly because I remember my first Friday here, when I knew nobody. Somebody paid for my seat that night. Now I pay for someone else's.

Questions

Questions about giving

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Beit Shalom Table is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your gift is tax-deductible to the extent the law allows. A receipt is emailed to you right away.

Can I dedicate my gift?

Yes. Add "in honor of" or "in memory of" and a name on the form, and we'll mention it at the next Shabbat kiddush if you like.

How do I change or stop a monthly gift?

Email or call the office and we'll change it the same day.

Is giving online secure?

Yes. Your card goes straight to our payment processor and never touches our website or our files.

Can I give in someone's name for a yahrzeit?

Of course. Many people give $18, $36 or $180 on a parent's yahrzeit. Choose "in memory of" and write their name.
